Sooo... Yesterday. It was fun. I went piano/piccolo/flute/guitar shopping. After visiting Guitar Center, Lunsford's, and Rush's, I went to Broadway Sound. Now, before I begin THAT story, I'll tell the stories from the other places.
Guitar Center:
I got a nifty little book so I can teach myself to play guitar. I also got a few picks, and Dad bought some cleaning stuff for his guitar.
Lunsford's:
I looked at a few flutes. They had nothing I wanted in the way of piccolos and nothing I could afford in flutes. *sad* But I'm alright. They had some awesome piano books that I'm going to keep in mind.
Rush's:
They had one piccolo that I was interested in. No flutes, and the piccolo was... outrageously expensive. I guess I'll have to wait on that one. HOWEVER... I discovered the piano room there. (Who knew that they had one? I had no clue!) Anyway, piano room. I walked in and fell in love with this:
Hint hint. I have a birthday coming up and this would make me the happiest girl alive. *COUGH* :)
After Dad pulled me off the piano and consoled my selfish tears, we went to Broadway Sound, where I saw a very pretty boy standing at the counter. I played it cool.... UNTIL..... he *gasp* asked where the piano books were. At this point, I was standing there, drooling like an idiot, thinking "How? How can pretty boy play the piano? *swoon* *WANT*" Sad day, when he didn't find what he was looking for and left. Meanwhile, Lucas was sending me evil texts saying the following:
"The kind of lessons you want from him are illegal. You need PIANO lessons."
"See? This is why I blog about what I do. You're always after some piano playing pretty boy."
"Creepy stalker. You can't go get his tag numbers."
"You're just creeping me out now. Great."
So, That was my day. Pretty piano, pretty flutes, pretty piccolos, and pretty boy. None of which I could afford. Gah.
